Is there any access to old photos that were published in the Review? I often wonder what happens to the photos the press takes. It would make a great web site if someone could access them and publish them. The quality was reduced when printed in the paper, but the cameras they used were top of the line with large negatives. I hope they haven't been destroyed.
NBHY-- I assume The Review has an archive of older photographic prints, but in all the years I worked there, I never saw it. Call Review senior photographer Wayne Maris. He'll know.

First Presbeterian (terribly misspelled)Church.
It might be St. John's Lutheran when it was located on Third St. It was on the right side of the street (river side) coming from the Newell Bridge.
Maddy, you are correct. I thought it would take longer for this one. Well played!
The visible sign on the right side of the church sure helps.
NBHY--
You're so right. I didn't see it until you pointed it out. Some quiz, eh? Anyhow, Maddy got the location, and that's not obvious.

I honestly did not see the sign on the church and had to look hard to find it. I just remember the church from when I was a kid.
