Holy newspapers, Batman!
The Review and Morning Journal have gone blogger!
If you are a regular reader of our local online newspapers, you already know that the online format has been changed to an interactive weblog. This is a radical move for the conservatives at Ogden, and I’m really glad to see that the corporation has decided to join the 21st century.
Ah, but there is a price.
Before you register for the right to make comments on these sites, make sure you read the agreement. You are giving personal information and your e-mail address to an entity called The Mining Journal, and according to that agreement, your personal information will be handed over to third party vendors who will provide you with "information about products and services." We can only assume that means lots of spam will come your way.
The agreement does indicate that you can opt out of the "offer," but you have to send an e-mail message to do it, which means they'll have your e-mail address. Personally, I'm not sure I trust the data miners at The Mining Journal. Just make sure you know what you're getting into before signing on.
Later today here at ORL, look for a piece on the photographic reconstruction of East Liverpool’s old Third Street.

That does it! Jimmy Carter came out today "for" B. Hussein Obama. Jimmah has been wrong about every single thing from the day he became president to present. Couple that with Ted Kennedy and it's unanimous Hussein Obama is the without question the wrong guy.
Hey, I think that ELO should take a lesson from their neighbors to the south, and grab some blue barrels and set up in front of the old car barn. The donations would go towards buying cold-patch material to fill those potholes!!!
Thanks for the warning, you may have saved people a lot of head aches.
I have an anonymous e-mail on yahoo just for sites that want me to "join." If you don't use it for anything else, then who cares how much email goes there. And you can always use a fake name, too.
And as for the sites, Ogden went company wide with those. The Columbiana Co. Papers are among the last to get it.
